MORE PUBLICATIONS IN 2012
PIPER DOCUMENTS
In 2012, the third part of the Piper Documents will be published. A timeless and unique account of life on the Högestad & Christinehof entail, offering a fascinating insight into the lime and alum industry, in an early industrial Swedish rural landscape. For the first time, the complete catalogue of their historical archives (16th-20th century) is published.
The publication is introduced with a "collection of thoughts" inspired by the long walks and discussions between the present entailer Carl Piper and Lars Hansen of the IK Foundation. The entail is one of the largest privately owned land areas in northern Europe, which at present concentrates its daily work on sustainable methods within natural resource limits. |
