TITLE:
The Swedish King receives a gift of a book

DATE:

May 2003

ARTICLE CONTENT:

As a thank you for his support through the King Gustaf VI Adolfs Fund, His Majesty Carl XVI Gustaf King of Sweden was presented with a unique copy of Charles E Nelson - A White Tohunga by the IK Foundation & Company and the book's authors, Peggy and Gunnar Kullberg.

The specially dedicated book is bound in leather and buckram and decorated with the Royal Coat of Arms. The unique slip case was bound by the internationally renowned Danish bookbinder Ole Olsen in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Maori art harmonises with a slip case designed by Danish bookbinder Ole Olsen for His Majesty Carl XVI Gustaf King of Sweden - a symbol of good relations between the Nordic Countries and New Zealand

The book was launched earlier in the year in Wellington, New Zealand.
