As said by David S. Mao - Acting Librarian of Congress in conjunction to the donation of the Linnaeus Apostles' series to the Library of Congress. The monumental journeys of the seventeen young, curious and adventurous naturalists who travelled across the globe (1745-1799) have been used as part of Swedish diplomacy in promoting Swedish research, knowhow and outreach globally having so far reached 117 countries. Today it’s a key part of the representation of Sweden Abroad with several foreign missions - both embassies and consulates donating copies of the Apostles' monumental undertakings to libraries, institutions and foreign dignitaries. 

Cultural dialogues which are reflective of the exchanges and the explorative nature of the Apostles' travels around the globe during the 18th century. The iReport details the impact which the donation of the monumental work as undertaken by The IK Foundation in publishing and dispersing the journeys of the Apostles to institutions and private persons on a global level. From Kazakhstan to the US, the works have made an impact on regional interest and understanding in the countries cultural and scientific history - the Apostles' travels being amongst the first documenting sources of many regions. Today the collective work The Linnaeus Apostles Global Science & Adventure has been dispersed by the Swedish Foreign Ministry through Swedish embassies and consulates around the globe as representational donations from Sweden but also as the sharing of knowledge - work which can provide inspiration for future generations.

Furthermore the iReport looks into the challenges facing the conservation of twelve Linnean sites and collections cross eight countries with the hope that in the longterm they can be preserved as Unesco World Heritage sites.
