PIPER DOCUMENTS - the archives from the stately home of Christinehof are an acrylic series, based on the official historical documents stored at Christinehof. Part of a trust in the south of Sweden, these archives are intact and span nearly four centuries of North European culture and natural history.

The rate of publishing could be said to be both irregular and slow, seen from a short-term perspective. Seen from a historical perspective, however, the archives contain material, spanning acts and events from nearly four centuries - a time span which colours the rate of publishing.

Their continuity may be the most valuable part of these entailed estate archives. From the earliest documents, originating from the Danish times and Jochum Beck's pre-industrial efforts in the 17th century, to the establishment of the family Piper, the arrival of modern farming and forestry up to today's pronounced views on nature and environment. The documents in the archives exude local, national as well as European history. In the tomes the careful archive researcher can find grains of understanding of family tragedies, landscape development and settlement. The purpose with the series of occasional documents Piperska handlingar is to spread knowledge about the world as perceived from the archives, i.e. the Andrarum alumworks, and the entailed estate Christinehofs fideikommiss.
