Hi there!

There is excitement in the air! | We will continue our scientific voyages in September – Voyage III – with field work along the west coast of Spitsbergen. It is a multi-disciplinary and long-term commitment covering both Natural & Cultural History. But the theme of "voyages" is also part of the new iTEXTILIS department in The IK Workshop Society, which today presents an interesting essay on "aspects on journeys to Spitsbergen in the 1750s to 1820s" and a new research and publishing work on the so-called The Linnaeus Apostles...

VOYAGE III

The expedition – Voyage III – will be carried out in September 2018. The project will use the ice-strengthened ship M/S Malmö as a platform for all of the expedition participants, transport, fieldwork and communication alike. We continue our documentation at Forlandsøyane and Prins Karls Forland.
